Have you ever come across situations where you don’t know what all you want and suddenly you find everything that you’ve ever needed? Like situations when you find yourself standing somewhere and your heart knows before your mind that you’re exactly where you’re meant to be? I mean how would you feel in that moment of epiphany? what are you even supposed to feel? Joy, glee or pure ecstasy and exuberance? You know I’m talking about the incidents that make you stand witness to one of the most magical examples of mirabilia you’d ever witness in your life, incidents that make you believe a little more in magic, incidents that have the ability to suck air out of your lungs and swell it up with happiness, incidents that make you want to sway your body in a jolly dance on top of a mountain, incidents that make you want to shout from a cliff, incidents that make you want to do the silly things, incidents that make you excited as if you’re a little boy and someone just gave you a candy bar, I am talking about incidents that simply make you forget every emotion other than pure ecstasy.
For me, that incident was marked by a simple “Hi”. This simple two letter monosyllable word was to change everything I had ever known about miracle and magic and love, in due course. I’ve always believed in perpetual love and to witness the way it found me was serendipitous and surreal. God knows how I survived all those years looking for a miracle, my own little explosion that’d change everything around me. (Actually no, I can tell you how I did it.😂 I used to watch fairytale videos online, in my mother tongue, to keep this fire, my belief in magic, alive.😀) But then, I’ve also witnessed this belief slowly take the shape of a human being – YOU.
You came in like a drop of hope in the ocean of hopelessness. Your presence is like a constant cwtch holding my storm together. I know it’s not easy to hold onto someone who loves with one foot out of the door (atleast that’s how I was at the start) but I hope you know that YOU made me believe a little more in our compathy with each passing day. I used to feel strangled back by confusion and fear after our every call. But I guess it was your continued presence, your consistency that helped me lower my guards. You are definitely the real MVP here. I mean for someone who’s ready to listen to my rant even after an entire day of arduous work, how can you not be! To someone who has chosen to love me at my weakest and even when my mood is all over the place, to someone who chose to stay in spite of everything that I am and despite everything that I am not; I love you. Thankyou for being my chrysalis. I love it how you have patience with me even when I push it to the limit sometimes. Here’s to our togetherness. Here’s to making more and more memories.
Ps- ik I’m a pain in your ass… But a worthy pain in your ass😂 you’ve done a fab job holding up with such severe pain so far. But mark me, trust that tush. Tush knows it all. Tush doesn’t lie. Keep up the good work of loving me dearie! 😂
