I have grown up with a mother who is hard on the outside but still a softie at heart. I have seen her feeding strays and taking care of them when they are injured. So it should not come as a surprise that I wanted a dog of my own. I wanted a dog to call my own. Here are some of the lessons that I have learned in almost a decade as a dog parent.
