Un-questionable Resilience of Rescue🍁

Idk what keeps the tattered and tethered heart of a rescuer beating?

Rescued animals

People don’t understand the resilience of rescue work. They don’t understand the courage to be prepared to go through the same ordeal over and over again. People don’t understand the uptight nature of a rescuer due to running in this circle, trying to make a change but not being able to make so much as a little difference. People don’t understand ther righteousness of rescue work. You are the voice, the strength and the hope of a voiceless. You are their will and their reason to live. You get to be able to give love and your rescues won’t let even a drop fall on ths ground. And even if sometimes it slips out of their pawsome hands and falls down, they will pick it up and multiply it manifold before giving it back to you.

Rescued animals

Yes, I don’t understand the resilience of rescue work. I’ll never understand the heart that gets beaten up at every step it takes, at every nook and corner it turns and at every time they extend their hand to help. Another pup, another place but same stories of hate and horror. I’ll never be able to understand the resilience that is ready to fight the most heinous acts of savagery being repeated day in, day out on these voiceless who express more than us even without the gift of speech. These animals won’t utter a word but will understand every word you speak. They won’t utter a word but will give you the most soothing comfort. They won’t utter a word but will say everything that you need to hear. They won’t utter a word but will provide you with the most terrific kind of love. The kind we call platonic love. The kind which is most powerful and the kind which is most unconditional and irrevocable. Idk what keeps the tattered and tethered heart of a rescuer beating when they lose their pups back to back without any ray of hope coming from anywhere and without any idea that there will be light at the end of this dark tunnel they’ve been traversing. But I do understand the mutual dependence of both, the rescue and the rescuer. I do understand the symbiotic relationship in which they both breathe in consonance and survive on the same frequency.
